Professor Hagai Bergman has been awarded a grant from the Gallin Family in New York for his research on Parkinson's disease. This grant will support his research collaboration with Prof. Zvi Israel and their colleagues in developing second-generation, closed-loop systems for Deep Brain Stimulation in Parkinson's disease patients.
The Brain Circle is in its fourth year of operation. ICNC is deeply indebted to Brain Circle members. With their wholehearted and generous support, their engagement and active interest in our research and in the well-being of our students, they have forged a strong bond with Hebrew University brain science. They are active partners in fulfilling the mission of building the future of Hebrew University brain science. Special thanks to Mr. Yoram Cohen of the Hebrew University for his endless and creative efforts to expand the Circle of Brains that support neuroscience research at the Hebrew University.
ICNC's activities are supported by generous donations and the public activities of the Friends of the Hebrew University in Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Canada, Switzerland, and the United States. We greatly appreciate their generosity, hard work and active interest in the Hebrew University's neuroscience program.
