We are grateful to the Edmond J. Safra Philanthropic Foundation and to Mrs. Lily Safra for the generous gift that enabled the establishment of the Edmond and Lily Safra Center for Brain Sciences (ELSC) at the Edmond J. Safra Campus. This gift reflects their long-term support of neuroscience and their commitment to making the Hebrew University a world leader in brain science and education.

We would like to express our gratitude to Lord David Sainsbury and the Gatsby Charitable Foundation for their five-year grant that will support our interdisciplinary research in computational neuroscience. This grant will also assist us in forging strong international collaborations with the Gatsby Unit of Computational Neuroscience at UCL, London, and the Center for Theoretical Neuroscience, Columbia University, New York. Special thanks to Dr. Sarah Caddick, Principal Neuroscience Advisor to Lord Sainsbury, for her assistance and advice.

We would like to thank Mr. Eric Roland for a gift that allowed the opening of the Eric Roland Interdisciplinary Research Program in Neurodegenerative Diseases at ICNC. The Program will advance multidisciplinary research and education at the Hebrew University in all disciplines related to neurodegenerative diseases and other brain malfunctions.

Professor Hagai Bergman has been awarded a grant from the Gallin Family in New York for his research on Parkinson's disease. This grant will support his research collaboration with Prof. Zvi Israel and their colleagues in developing second-generation, closed-loop systems for Deep Brain Stimulation in Parkinson's disease patients.

The Brain Circle is in its fourth year of operation. ICNC is deeply indebted to Brain Circle members. With their wholehearted and generous support, their engagement and active interest in our research and in the well-being of our students, they have forged a strong bond with Hebrew University brain science. They are active partners in fulfilling the mission of building the future of Hebrew University brain science. Special thanks to Mr. Yoram Cohen of the Hebrew University for his endless and creative efforts to expand the Circle of Brains that support neuroscience research at the Hebrew University.

We are grateful to Alice and Jack Ormut for their ongoing support of our students. Their generous support has been essential for the success of the Alice and Jack Ormut Ph.D. Program in Brain Sciences: Computation and Information Processing as a competitive and highly prestigious program that allows bright and dedicated students to devote their time and energies to studies and research.

We would like to thank our long time friends Michael and Morven Heller for their ongoing support of the Heller Lecture Series in Computational Neuroscience. Their generosity allows us to invite distinguished researchers from all over the world to speak at ICNC and to interact with its researchers and students.

We are indebted to Dr. Jean-Claude Picard, Director of Association Franco-Israelienne pour la Recherche en Neurosciences (AFIRNe) for his devoted work both in support of collaborations between the Hebrew University and French neuroscientists and for organizing the Israel-France Seminars on the Brain

ICNC's activities are supported by generous donations and the public activities of the Friends of the Hebrew University in Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Canada, Switzerland, and the United States. We greatly appreciate their generosity, hard work and active interest in the Hebrew University's neuroscience program.
